The formula
total = hook fee + (miles × per-mile rate) + surcharges
Worked example
A $75 hook fee plus 10 miles at $5 is $125 before any surcharge.
Assumptions
The defaults illustrate the structure, not a published rate. There is no national rate table for consensual towing — ask your provider for the three numbers.
